Our story

Insa Dodam is a Korean restaurant in a repaired hanok at 5-1 Insadong 16-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul. A small kitchen cooks bibimbap, bulgogi, jjim, and jeon from what we prepped that day.

A careful meal

Bibimbap is lunch only so the namul stay fresh. Extra rice if you need it. If the food is good, tell a neighbour. If it is not, tell the owner.

Food

Lunch centres on six steamed namul over rice. Evening is Eonyang-style crispy bulgogi (first in our staff recipe contest), spicy octopus, stone-pot galbi-jjim sweetened with fruit and vegetables rather than sugar, and vegan minari-jeon.
